On foot

The walking route is 86 km long and takes place mainly on dirt roads, mountain trails and on some short stretches of secondary asphalted roads.
The Cammino dei Borghi Silenti is traced in a ring and revolves around the mountain Croce di Serra, the highest point of the Amerini mountains with its almost one thousand meters high; it is necessary to carefully follow the yellow signs, as per the legend, as the path runs along wide uninhabited stretches with long passages in the woods. Generally the route can be taken by anyone who has a fair amount of training, as there are no technically difficult stretches, but only, as is obvious, a bit tiring. It is advisable to evaluate well your physical abilities and the training you have, however there is always the possibility of being able to shorten or lengthen the stages to your liking by organizing yourself through the paper guide and the excel format sheet, which will be delivered on departure or sent in advance on request.
The guide and the sheet contain all the information necessary for the organization of the journey.
